Self-Care and Mindfulness: these practices are not about indulgence and distraction.
These practices are about connection.
These practices are about taking the time to slow down, to pause, to breathe, to notice, appreciate, and perhaps smile... :) 
Noticing and connecting with your mind, body, spirit, and intention, as they are, in that moment, without judgement.
Enjoying the moment, savoring the moment, allowing the moment to reveal all the points of interest that greet you along the way... your journey...
Slow down.
Pause.
Breathe.
Smile.
You are a valuable human being.
